Greg Mandelman is an accomplished leader with nearly 20 years of experience tackling complex social and analytical challenges around the world. At RSG, he collaborates with our business leaders and technical experts to accelerate our cutting-edge mobility and transportation market research work to equip clients with powerful insights and superior decision-making support.
Throughout his career, Greg has held a diverse range of responsibilities. These include serving as the director of a domestic violence shelter in Utah, serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bangladesh, and leading mental health services and training programs in London.
After completing his master’s degree in public policy at the University of Michigan in 2010, Greg oversaw a multimillion-dollar portfolio of behavioral energy research and led a team of statisticians and analysts at the San Francisco-based electricity and natural gas utility Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He then transitioned into the energy consulting industry at Guidehouse, formerly Navigant, where he directed the firm’s high-impact projects in transportation electrification. Greg most recently worked for Kevala, where he was the director of its transportation electrification practice and architect of the electric vehicle energy impact forecasting model developed for California’s utility regulator.
Outside of work, Greg relishes time spent in the Colorado wilderness. He frequently camps with his wife, Helana, and their two boys in the family's teardrop trailer.
