Edna Aguilar is a transportation modeler with expertise in data analysis, modeling, and survey weighting. Her work supports the development of robust analytical tools that help regions respond to evolving transportation challenges. Edna has contributed to modeling efforts for agencies across California, Texas, Washington, and New England, including activity-based model development, calibration, and land-use data integration. Her recent projects include airport ground transportation modeling, household travel survey weighting, and base model updates.

At RSG, Edna plays a key role in converting survey data into modeling-ready inputs and scripting automated workflows to support model calibration and validation. She is especially skilled in data visualization and spatial data processing and regularly works with tools like Python, R, and ArcGIS. Her efforts help clients make informed, data-driven decisions about mobility investments and long-term planning.

Raised in Mexico City, Edna is inspired by people-centered planning and city leaders who support non-car-oriented urban spaces. She lives in the Bay Area and enjoys biking as her main mode of transportation, playing guitar, and learning to ice skate.
