RSG to Present at PTV Group’s 27th Annual User Group Meeting

RSG will join transportation modeling professionals from across the United States and Canada at PTV Group’s 27th Annual User Group Meeting, taking place October 21-22, 2026, in Stevenson, Washington.

A highlight of RSG’s participation will be a presentation from Joel Freedman titled “SimOR: A Standardized Activity-based Modeling Framework for Oregon’s MPOs.” Joel will share how RSG and the Oregon Department of Transportation are developing a common activity-based modeling framework to support MPOs across the state.

Robert Wertman will also present “Three MPOs, One Framework: How Alaska Is Building a Cooperative Statewide Modeling Program in PTV Visum.” His presentation will explore how Alaska DOT&PF and the state’s MPOs are creating a shared modeling framework to improve consistency, efficiency, and collaboration.

As a national leader in travel model development, RSG looks forward to connecting with fellow practitioners and sharing practical approaches to building data-driven transportation models that help agencies plan for the future.
