RSGers will attend and present at the Modeling Mobility (MoMo) Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from September 14-17, 2025. RSGers will present five technical sessions and workshops covering household VMT and accessibility, VisionEval applications, uncertainty frameworks, O-D evaluation and spatial downscaling, rural/small community models, and performance-based planning. Sunday, September 14
Stephen Lawe, Principal, will moderate a VisionEval workshop, titled “The role of VisionEval within the transportation modeling toolkit,” during the afternoon on Sunday, September 14 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. The workshop will offer attendees a deeper dive into VisionEval’s structure, real-world applications, and planned enhancements.
Bishoy Kelleny, Modeling Consultant, will present “Enhancements to a Risk and Uncertainty Framework to Consider Flexible Work Arrangements and Overnight Visitors” on Sunday, September 14, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. His session will demonstrate a synthetic modeling approach that quantifies forecast uncertainty in travel demand, providing agencies with scalable tools to assess long-term risks.
Monday, September 15
James Sullivan, Senior Modeling Consultant, will contribute to two sessions on Monday, September 15. From 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., he will first present “INRIX O-D Evaluation and Use for Spatial Downscaling of the NextGen O-D,” which explores refined methods for enhancing origin-destination data. Later that day, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., he will moderate the “Rural / Small Community Models” session, focusing on the unique challenges of modeling in smaller and rural communities.
Ashley Asmus, Senior Consultant, will present on Monday, September 15, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. during the session “Modeling Demand from Supply: Household Vehicle Miles Traveled is Explained by Local and Regional Accessibility,” which demonstrates how accessibility measures can explain travel behavior and provide insights for policy and planning decisions.
Tuesday, September 16
Jay Evans, Chief Operating Officer, will moderate the “Performance-Based Metrics and Planning” session on Tuesday, September 16, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. This session will emphasize how performance-based planning strengthens transportation investment decisions by linking strategies to measurable outcomes.
