RSG Principal Stephen Lawe will present in two upcoming FHWA VisionEval Applications for Planning webinars on May 6 and May 11, 2026. The sessions will highlight how public agencies are using VisionEval to incorporate strategic modeling into transportation planning and decision-making.
Stephen will provide technical context for two FHWA-developed case studies: Oregon Department of Transportation’s use of VisionEval to support its long-range transportation plan and Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission’s use of VisionEval Regional Strategic Planning Model to support the Interstate 89 Corridor Study.
RSG has been involved in VisionEval since its inception, helping advance its application through FHWA-funded research, state deployments, and ongoing support for agencies using the platform in real-world planning contexts. Today, RSG continues to support the VisionEval community and extend the platform through complementary tools such as VisionEval Explorer, a scalable, web-based dashboard that turns complex model outputs into interactive insights agencies can use to guide planning, policy, and investment decisions.
