Wesley Darling supports RSG with expertise in transportation simulation, data science, and operations research. He applies advanced modeling and statistical techniques to help public agencies evaluate policy, planning, and investment decisions.
At RSG, Wesley contributes to the development and calibration of large-scale travel models, drawing on experience with agent-based simulations, behavioral analysis, and incentive policy evaluation. He is proficient in Python, SQL, R, and GIS, and brings a systems-level approach to solving complex transportation challenges. Wesley holds an Engineer Intern license and has passed the NCEES PE exam. He has also been recognized nationally for his contributions to transportation research.
Based in North Carolina, Wesley enjoys exploring new places and examining the systems that move people and goods across them. In his personal time, he finds balance through hiking, playing bass, and staying up to date with contemporary cinema and literature.
