Stuart (Stu) Sirota brings decades of leadership experience in transportation planning, urban development, and infrastructure strategy across the public and private sectors. At RSG, Stu oversees the firm’s modeling and planning work. Known for his collaborative leadership style, he excels at building partnerships, delivering strategic outcomes, and turning challenges into clear, client-focused solutions.
During his career, Stu has directed a wide array of complex projects, programs, and organizational development initiatives. He is passionate about advancing best practices and is responsible for securing more than $100 million in grant funding for innovative planning efforts. His work integrates land use, transportation, and policy to support sustainable, people-centered outcomes, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and implementation. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and an experienced facilitator of public engagement and charrette processes.
Based in Baltimore, Stu enjoys live music, traveling with his family, cycling, and playing guitar and drums.
