Shawn McCloskey brings over a decade of expertise in travel behavior research. At RSG, he supports the design and execution of innovative survey methodologies that improve response rates and participant experiences. He leverages emerging technologies and process automation to ensure that the data collected meet clients’ modeling and forecasting needs, enhancing the quality and accuracy of transportation planning.
Before joining RSG, Shawn managed several large-scale household travel surveys, including the 2017 and 2024 National Household Travel Survey. He has also led regional and statewide projects in Colorado, Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Maryland, Michigan, and New Jersey. His expertise includes integrating questionnaire design, smartphone applications, and location-based services data to create a comprehensive understanding of travel behaviors.
Shawn lives in Maryland with his family. He enjoys hiking, running, golfing, and spending time in the mountains and at the beach.
