Samantha Williams applies her expertise in cognitive neuroscience and behavioral research to improve transportation survey design and inform public policy. At RSG, she supports the design, execution, and analysis of survey-based studies that explore how people make travel decisions. Her academic training and postdoctoral work shape her user-centered approach to research, connecting individual behavior to broader transportation systems and community outcomes.

Sam has contributed to large-scale and recurring efforts such as the Oregon Travel Study and the Triangle Travel Survey. Her work emphasizes participant experience, data quality, and the practical application of behavioral science to transportation planning. She collaborates closely with clients and interdisciplinary teams to generate actionable insights that support local and regional decision-making.

Based in Rhode Island, Sam enjoys traveling, exploring new beaches, and spending time with family and friends.
