Modeling Analyst

Rohan Sirupa specializes in travel demand modeling, data analysis, and geospatial visualization to support advanced transportation models. His expertise includes calibrating and validating key model components such as tour and trip mode choice and highway and transit assignments. At RSG, he applies tools like Python and R to streamline workflows, generate transit and highway summaries, and visualize outputs that improve modeling accuracy and clarity.

Rohan has contributed to modeling efforts for regional planning organizations, including the San Diego Association of Governments, Metropolitan Transportation Commission, San Joaquin Valley Freight Models, Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. His background in operations research supports a data-driven approach to transportation modeling, with a focus on improving equity and accessibility.

Outside of work, Rohan enjoys staying active through outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and kayaking. He also enjoys cooking and discovering new cuisines.
