Nicholas Fisher brings a data-driven, policy-oriented approach to transportation, climate, and equity challenges. With a background in economics and environmental policy, he supports public agencies by applying advanced modeling tools and spatial analysis techniques to inform strategic decision-making. His expertise includes scenario planning, greenhouse gas and vehicle miles traveled (GHG and VMT) impact evaluation, infrastructure needs assessment, and freight and travel behavior analysis.
At RSG, Nick works extensively with VisionEval and other modeling platforms to evaluate regional and statewide planning scenarios. His project work includes developing modeling packages for metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), estimating electric vehicle charging infrastructure needs, and quantifying the transportation impacts of policy and land-use changes. He has supported clients across the country, including state departments of transportation, MPOs, and local agencies.
