Jay Evans leads business operations at RSG to support the successful delivery of projects and the long-term growth of the firm’s most important asset: its people. With more than 25 years of experience in business operations, corporate finance, and consulting, he helps ensure that project teams are positioned for excellence across RSG’s diverse markets.
His consulting experience spans both public and private sectors, including work in transportation, telecommunications, energy, real estate, and consumer goods. Jay has managed projects focused on travel demand forecasting, strategic investment support, and decision-making for major infrastructure programs. He has also contributed to nationally recognized research, including the Traveler Response Handbook (TCRP Report 95) and NCHRP Report 716 on forecasting parameters and techniques—key resources for advancing data-informed planning and investment strategies.
Jay lives in Washington, DC, with his partner of more than 25 years. He enjoys exploring cities, going on bicycling adventures, and working through crossword puzzles. He is a registered Professional Engineer in DC, Florida, and Virginia.
