Isaac Old

Senior Consultant

Isaac Old is an acoustician with more than a decade of experience delivering impactful noise assessments and acoustic analyses for environmental and architectural applications. At RSG, he leads sound-level measurement and modeling efforts that support planning, permitting, and compliance across renewable energy, infrastructure, and development projects. His work helps clients address complex acoustic challenges through rigorous analysis and actionable results.

Isaac is Board Certified by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering and is an active member of both the Acoustical Society of America and the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. His research interests include wind turbine noise, transmission loss, and vehicle sound emissions, topics where technical depth and regulatory awareness are key to delivering sound, data-driven decisions.

Outside of work, Isaac enjoys spending time with his children and getting outdoors through mountain biking, trail running, home projects, and skiing.
