Evan Killion supports RSG’s market research and transportation planning work with a strong foundation in geography, survey research, and data analysis. He helps public agency clients uncover clear, actionable insights from complex datasets by managing survey design, coordinating data collection, and conducting detailed analysis.
At RSG, Evan has contributed to projects for the Massachusetts Port Authority, Community Transit, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Rhode Island Public Transit Authority, and other regional and national agencies. His work spans customer satisfaction and preferences, fare policy evaluation, ridership forecasting, and accessibility and equity analysis. He has also supported national data infrastructure projects, including the Intercity Bus Atlas and the development of General Transit Feed Specification datasets for transit systems.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Evan is known for his collaborative approach, technical precision, and ability to clearly communicate findings to a variety of audiences. Outside of work, he enjoys analog photography, cooking new foods and rediscovering family recipes, practicing Russian, and embroidering his favorite denim jacket.
