Alyssa Smith supports RSG’s research and analytics work with a background in survey design, data processing, and geospatial analysis. Her experience includes working with large-scale datasets and applying tools such as R, PostgreSQL, and Qualtrics to support data integrity and extract meaningful insights.
At RSG, Alyssa contributes to transportation and behavioral research projects by ensuring data accuracy, supporting analysis workflows, and improving data usability for planning and policy applications. Her work helps public agencies make informed decisions rooted in reliable and accessible data.
Based in metro Atlanta, Alyssa is currently pursuing a graduate degree in public policy at Georgia State University. Outside of work and school, she enjoys mind-bending literature, interdisciplinary science podcasts, and connecting with others who share a love of inquiry and exploration.
