Alidad Ahmadi specializes in transportation data analytics, travel demand modeling, and the development of data-driven web applications. At RSG, he supports projects that analyze travel patterns and leverage big data using tools such as Python, ArcGIS, Shiny, and custom decision-support platforms. His work helps cities, agencies, and regional partners assess vehicle miles traveled (VMT), greenhouse gas emissions, and infrastructure performance.
Ali brings experience working across multiple states on a range of planning and modeling efforts. He has developed web-based tools and workflows that support SB 743 (CEQA) compliance, evaluate the travel behavior impacts of last-mile delivery, and assist in planning for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. His technical leadership has been recognized by the American Planning Association, Women’s Transportation Seminar, and the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and through presentations at national conferences.
An Engineer in Training, Ali has published research on transportation safety, automated vehicles, and disaster response. He is passionate about applying data-driven solutions to promote sustainable, resilient, and effective transportation systems.
