Alex Rutkowski supports RSG’s acoustics work with expertise in environmental and architectural sound measurement, modeling, and analysis. She collects and analyzes sound-level data before and after construction, performs transmission-loss testing, and helps develop models to evaluate project feasibility and compliance with sound regulations. Her experience spans wind energy developments, public parks, transportation corridors, and mixed-use developments.
Alex has conducted noise monitoring and modeling for projects across the Northeast, including compliance assessments under New York Article X and Maine DEP requirements. She works closely with clients to analyze background sound levels, evaluate impacts from proposed infrastructure, and recommend mitigation strategies that balance performance, cost, and community needs.
Based in New Hampshire, Alex volunteers with Team Rubicon, a national disaster response organization, and is active in her local softball and music communities. She plays in slowpitch leagues, coaches high school fastpitch, and performs with community bands on instruments including oboe, saxophone, and English horn.
