Clint specializes in helping cities and regions make informed decisions about infrastructure investments, environmental impacts, and land use policy. With over 15 years of experience, his expertise is centered around managing travel and land use model development, implementation, and application projects.
Prior to joining RSG, Clint led the transportation modeling and population forecasting team at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). In this role, he led efforts to modernize the agency’s analytical and data platforms, including the implementation of a new activity-based travel model and innovative web platforms for disseminating information. He also served as the staff liaison to the SANDAG Transportation Committee—briefing elected officials and senior policy makers on transportation policy in the San Diego region.
Clint’s broad and deep expertise includes long range transportation planning, New Starts grants, corridor studies, transit-oriented development, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, climate action planning, regional growth forecasts, funding initiatives, and traffic and revenue modeling, as well as air quality conformity analysis and environmental permitting. He brings this expertise to his role as an RSG consultant and as a Board member of the Zephyr Foundation for Advancing Travel Analysis Methods—a non-profit focused on improving transportation policy analysis tools.
Clint enjoys exploring cities and finding the human element of urban design. When he is not wandering around a new city, Clint lives in San Diego with his wife and two children. You’ll most likely find him at a baseball game or exploring the San Diego/Tijuana region.
