Qualitative data collection & synthesis

While a substantial amount of work we do at RSG is centered around quantitative data, RSG also conducts significant qualitative research. RSG fully appreciates the value of qualitative data and often find it critical to include quantitative data collection and analysis in our projects. We leverage qualitative data to inform questions in quantitative data collection, validate findings from quantitative data, and to dig deeper and “reality-check” initial insights to ensure our recommendations are truly practical. Our methods to collect quantitative data include leading stakeholder workshops, running public meetings, moderating focus groups and convened groups, and conducting one-on-one interviews. We also have established relationships with other qualitative firms who we work with to incorporate ethnographies and other methods, when appropriate.
